In line with my former professional activities as Management Team Member - Senior Account Manager/Underwriter and my current studies, I’m looking for (international) projects, preferably in the financial services industry w.r.t. Account Management, Underwriting or Risk Management.
Starting up the sales administration in the newly created Benelux subsidiary (since 01.01.2016) for Durst Phototechnik digital inkjet printer systems
Benelux reinsurance broking: client relationship management and client servicing, prospection and business development, data and risk analysis, structuring (based on modeling & simulation), quotation, drafting of wordings, consulting, negotiation of terms and conditions and placement of life and non-life reinsurance treaties. These broking activities are performed by several client teams of variable composition involving 3-6 persons with different competencies (administration, actuarial, modeling, wording, specialty, …) under the coordination and final responsibility of the Senior Account Manager. Management responsibility for Belux client relationships, business development and (pro)active market initiatives.

French property and casualty (P&C) treaty underwriting: French market client/broker relationship management and servicing, prospection and business development, data and risk analysis, structuring (based on modeling & simulation), quotation, reviewing/issuing of wordings, negotiation of terms and conditions and writing of non-life reinsurance treaties according to the underwriting guidelines/policy
Benelux, Scandinavian and Baltic property and casualty (P&C) treaty underwriting: client/broker relationship management and servicing, prospection and business development, data and risk analysis, structuring (based on modeling & simulation), quotation, reviewing/issuing of wordings, negotiation of terms and conditions and writing of non-life reinsurance treaties according to the underwriting guidelines/policy.
Assistant to the Continental European P&C Treaty Underwriter.
Professional Certificate in Risk Management The program aims at better preparing professionals facing the current financial services sector challenges. The program does this by giving a structured approach to governance, risk and compliance as well as a full-fledge expertise in the techniques, policies and methods that are appropriate to any effective management, passing through a risk map (including risks such as legal, tax, fraud and technology risks) to close with linking risk and strategy. It sheds light on all financial markets (from the traditional ones (MM, FX), via the current controversy markets (credit derivatives & structured products) to the emerging ones (commodity). Participants are given the opportunity to familiarize with quantitative techniques usually supportive of an advanced risk management framework (market, credit and operational risks) or a decision-making process (corporate finance, portfolio management, real options). The program also informs on the current regulatory framework and alerts on the new package of reforms to which the sector will be exposed.
