I started my career as tax lawyer in a consultancy environment. After gaining five years of experience, including an international assignment, I was offered the position of Finance Director at Vertimac.
Vertimac, active in wholesale of machines and spare parts, holds a leading role in the global access equipment industry. Early 2017, the international rental division 'Altitop' was founded.
As Finance Director and member of the executive board, I was the key responsible at group level for HR, accountancy and finance (including tax, treasury and credit control), legal, insurance, facilities, fleet and IT. Specific areas of focus include overall operational excellence, taking the lead in the development and integration of ERP solutions, and coordination of cross-border development of the rental activities. I held this role for 7 years.
